PhoenixFD Texmap can be found in the Material Editor. It exports a channel of a selected PHXSimulator object as a procedural texture. Using this component, you can shade the content in special ways that the plain Phoenix shader does not support. In most cases when this texture is used you will need a dummy simulator object to avoid circular references.


Source node (MXS: node) - Allows you to specify a PHXSimulator.

Channel (MXS: channel) - The exported channel:

  • Emissive color
  • Diffuse color
  • Alpha
  • Velocity
  • RGB

Tiling mode (MXS: tiling) - How to proceed the sampling outside of the box.

Skip the fine displacement (MXS: skip_fine_displ) - When checked the content is sampled without fine displacement.
