This page provides some details on the settings available for the Render Stats Material node in V-Ray.

 

Overview


The VRayMtlRenderStats can be used to specify additional render settings on a per-material basis.

Node


The MtlRenderStats node contains the following input:

 

 

 

material – Specifies the surface material that the additional settings will be applied to.

 

Parameters



 

 

Camera Visibility – When disabled, the object will not be visible to camera rays.

Reflections Visibility – When disabled, the object will appear perfectly transparent to reflection rays.

Refractions Visibility – When disabled, the object will appear perfectly transparent to refraction rays.

Gi Visibility – When disabled, the object will be considered perfectly transparent to GI rays.

Shadows Visibility – When disabled, the object will be invisible to shadow rays from lights and will not cast shadows.

Visibility – Controls the overall visibility.

Use – Enables the Render Stats.

Shadows Receive – When disabled, the object will not receive shadows.

 

Notes


  • This material is not to be used nested in bump, wrapper, 2sided or blend materials.
