Overview


The V-Ray Stucco Texture is a procedural texture that produces a surface effect similar to an uneven stucco surface. Both of its color channels can be connected to texture maps if required.

 

 


 

UI Path: ||Shading viewport|| > Shader Tree > Add Layer button > V-Ray Textures Procedural > V-Ray Stucco

 

Parameters


 

 

 

Color 1 – Controls the lighter color. This channel can also be connected to a texture map.

Color 2 – Controls the darker color.  This channel can also be connected to a texture map.

Size – Controls the scale of the procedural texture produced. For more details, please see the Size examples below.

Thickness – Controls how thick the Stucco effect appears. For more details, please see the Thickness examples below.

Threshold – Controls which areas that will contain the textures features. For more details, please see the Threshold examples below.

Notes


  • The default Thickness value is 4.0. In some cases, this value is too large for the texture to be seen. Reduce the value in order to see the effect.
